Luxman Moonlit Market

A roguelike deck builder where you help Uncle Luxman manage and lay out the attractions in a spectacular night market to satisfy crowds around the world.


Key Features:

  • Layout Management : Strategically arrange booths and attractions at the night market to maximize ticket collection from the crowds. Players must manage which blueprints to build and which to remove, balancing the supply of attractions with the demands of the crowd to ensure maximum satisfaction and profit.
  • Deck Building : Players start with a basic deck of blueprints and expand their options by adding new ones after successfully completing each night.
  • Reshuffle Gamble : Players can reshuffle their deck to try and draw the desired blueprints. However, reshuffling carries risks, as it can result in either beneficial or detrimental effects.
  • Exciting Point Generator : Open your night market and see how your layout decisions generate points. Attractions that satisfy the crowds can trigger big payouts, with the chance for surprising rewards. A multiplier system boosts your earnings, making each round of point generation feel more rewarding and exciting.
  • Charms and Vouchers : Collect charms and vouchers to unlock special abilities, power-ups, and buffs that enhance your strategies and improve your chances of success.
  • Branching Levels : Certain levels offer multiple paths to explore, allowing players to choose different regions to visit, enhancing replayability and strategic depth.
  • Pantura Vernacular Graphics : The game blends vibrant Indonesian art inspired by the Pantura with the nostalgic charm of classic rubber hose animation (old Disney style). This unique fusion creates a visually captivating world, filled with playful, animated characters and attractions that bring the night market to life.
  • Pasar Malam Vibe : Immerse yourself in the lively and colorful atmosphere of an Indonesian-inspired night market, with iconic landscapes, realistic attractions, and vibrant cultural elements that bring the "Pasar Malam" experience to life.

Note: This prototype was made in only 1 week, So it's still a rough prototype, and the game is in the early development stage. We will continue to improve the artwork, content, and overall game feel.

Prototype Notes:

  • Visual Point Calculation: The visual representation of point calculation has not yet been implemented, so the game feel may not be as satisfying. However, point calculations are being processed in the backend and results can be viewed in the top-left HUD.
  • Shop Functionality: The shop currently does not support the purchase of vouchers and charms.
  • Free Upgrade: The free upgrade to enhance cards feature is not yet available.
  • Voucher Implementation: Only one voucher is implemented at this stage, which is the "move tenant" voucher.
  • Charm Implementation: Currently, only the +1 reshuffle charm is available (with the standard 3 reshuffles per night).
  • Background Design: Backgrounds have not been implemented. The final version will feature varied environmental designs representing different regions.
  • Attraction Visuals: Each attraction should have a unique visual design for its combinations, such as the Bianglala, Ombak Banyu, Kora Kora, Tong Setan, Eating Contests, etc. In this prototype, only one generic tent design is used.
  • Music and SFX: Music and sound effects are not yet included.
  • Upcoming Content: Many more exciting features and content are planned for future updates to complete the game.
